2015-17 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 1-3/4″ Full Length, long tube exhaust Headers will add additional horsepower and torque over shorty tuned length headers. Add over 20 horsepower when you install a set of BBK Performance Full Length exhaust headers.
The BBK R&D department developed these headers with one thing in mind:
Getting even more horsepower and torque out of the all new 2015-2017 V6 Mustang that is already putting out nearly twice the horsepower of its V6 predecessor!
This all new rugged BBK header design is constructed with 1-3/4” CNC Mandrel-Bent tubing and solid 3/8” laser cut exhaust flanges.
Initial testing on our 6 speed manual trans V6 pony showed gains of around 10+ horsepower & 5ft lbs torque with the high flow catted X pipe and over 20 horsepower with the off road mis x pipe.
Every 2015, 2016, 2017 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 Full Length long tube exhaust header kit includes new gaskets, all required hardware, O2 extensions and detailed installation instructions for installation.
Please Note: Front O2 wire harness extensions MUST be purchased separately for ALL 2015-16 Mustang V6 installations – Part # 1119
A Short Mid Pipe is required specifically for the 2015-16 model to complete installation: Part # 1465 – W/Catalytic Converters or Part # 14650 Off Road Race Only – See Above.
VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ – Check engine lights may occur on some vehicles with long tube headers and high flow mid pipes due to the fact that the factory computer is measuring the temps for the converter. When a converter or O2 Sensor is re-located further back as it is with long tube exhaust headers a check engine light appears because it takes the new converter longer to heat up. It is Not a physical issue with the headers or cats or O2 sensors (codes people are getting) and not a physical drive ability problem. It can be eliminated with a vehicle tune.
